Apple puree is a semi-processed product made from fresh apples. In the process of apple puree production, after washing, peeling and de-seeding, the apples are made into a soft and uniform paste and cooked until they reach a semi-solid state. 

Unlike apple concentrate, this product does not contain fruit juice and the process of water evaporation does not occur in it, for this reason it has a thicker texture than fruit juice.

In apple puree, only apples are made into a paste and are not dehydrated. Therefore, the product has a thicker texture. Apple puree usually has a lower price than concentrate due to the lack of dehydration and complicated processing, and has wider applications in the food industry.

Apple puree production season in Iran starts from late summer to early autumn, at the same time as the apple harvest. During this period, the quality of apples is high, and factories produce apple puree with the best standards and at the lowest cost.

With the end of the apple harvest season, stocks of apples and puree will decrease, and prices may increase. We advise customers to make their bulk purchase at the peak of the apple harvest season to get the best price.
